FLAMINIA COUPé SPECIALE 1964
Flaminia Coupé Speciale 1964
Design drawing by Pininfarina signed by Munot. Mixed media on ocher cardboard. Detail of the front side view. Frame sizes:
13.39 x 20.47 in.
During the 45th Turin Motor Show in 1963, Pininfarina exhibited a 2.8-liter Flaminia 3C (chassis 826.138-1167), a coupé characterized by the non-casual stylistic contrast between the front - clearly inspired by the smaller Flavia coupé - and the rest of the car, very faceted and elusive. The car reappears in its straw color a few months later during the 1964 Geneva Motor Show. With only 19,000 km traveled (11780 miles) and after literally traveling around the world, today it belongs to a well-known Italian collector.
