Rectangular in shape, made of solid oak and veneered wood, with a marquetry decoration featuring butterfly wings set within inlays. The front features two hinged doors at the bottom and a drawer at the top. The flap reveals a writing surface, four compartments and six drawers. The bevelled side panels end in curved legs, joined at the front by a scalloped apron.Stamped by Nicolas Alexandre Lapie, who was admitted as a master in 1764.Transition period.Gilded bronze lock plates and latches.
