Boudewijns work combines the traditional Northern landscape painting
with the classicism of Claude Lorrain and Poussin. His landscapes are often
bathed in a bright sunlit glow. These Classical idealised views
became Boudewijns trademark. The meticulous rendering of trees reveals
the influence of Gaspard Dughet.
