One page, 8 x 9 7/8 in., creased throughout, with some staining and some wear to edges. With free franked cover stamped "Free," and signed ("Oliv. Wolcott Jr."), docketed, with staining and some loss.

In this letter to Commissioner of Loans, John Cochran, Esq., he writes, "I have received your letter of the 16th Instant, with an account current, Abstracts of vouchers, for payments to Invalid pensioners, in the quarter ending the 31st of December 1793."

Oliver Wolcott Jr. would go on to serve as the second United States Secretary of the Treasury (1795-1800) and as the 24th Governor of Connecticut (1817-1827).
