the first two of smaller size and flattened slightly tapering form, the first, with a bough of fruiting grape and a squirrel on a branch, two-character calligraphy, the reverse painted with a pavilion in landscape, h: 1 7/8 in. the other smaller bottle, with a lady in landscape to one side and a pavilion in landscape to the other, h: 1 7/8 in., the third bottle, of flattened square form, with a riverscape and buildings to both sides on clear glass, h: 2 3/8 in., and the fourth bottle, of flattened square form, decorated to one side with a lion and its mate below a calligraphic inscription, the reverse with squirrel on branches, h: 2 1/4 in.
