FOUR NAPOLEONIC PORCELAIN CABINET PLATES

Austrian, 19th/20th C. Teal green ground with hand painted figural scenes from the life of Napoleon, each signed by artist Forst. Gilded foliate trims and banding, monogrammed with an N on the top of each dish. Inscribed "Vienna", with gilded Royal Vienna style shield marks to underside. Titles inscribed to the back include: "Incendie de Moscow" "Bataille de Wagram""Retraite de Moscow" "Napoleon 1er et la Reine de Prusse a Tilsit"
