Chinese. Group of four wooden trays having figural and floral embroidery panels or fragments under glass, including a pair with metallic thread and qilins. Unmarked. Provenance: From a Private Collection, Birmingham, AL, by descent; acquired in China between 1901-1926. Approx. of the largest, h. 1", w. 23.5", d. 12.5".
Condition Report: The pair with some losses to edges, one with visible seam to center, one with loose back; toning; not examined out of frames; no cracked glass.
