FRAMED TIN SIGN FOR THE GREEN RIVER WHISKEY COMPANY.
This is a framed tin sign for the Green River Whiskey Company showing the Green River horse and the Green River man, noting that she was bred in Kentucky. This is an extremely difficult tin sign to find, marked for the Chas. W. Shonk Co. Litho in Chicago, Illinois and copyrighted 1899 and owned by J. W. McCulloch in Owensboro, Kentucky. The sign is in very good condition with some areas of paint loss, slight scratching and a little bit of foxing. This is an extremely hard to find sign mounted in a frame that would not be original to the piece. Condition: (8.0 - 8.5). Dimensions: Frame: 32" x 42" x 1 - 1/2".
