Condition Report:
The work is lined with wax and tacked to modern stretchers. The surface of the work is dirty with scattered surface cracking throughout including two surface scratches along the right upper edge with associated paint losses. There are frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges with corresponding chip losses. Under UV there appear to be scattered pindots, small spots and fine lines of inpaint in the outer margins. Although some pigments read strongly under UV they appear to be the artist's original.
