FRANCISCO BAYEU'S WORKHOP "Providence presiding over

Model for the vault painted in fresco in 1770 by Francisco Bayeu of what was the antechamber of the room of the Infante D. Luis in the Royal Palace of Madrid. Due to the importance of the commission, at least two known models with slight variations are preserved (Private collection, or/l 46 x 50 cm; and Real Sociedad Económica Aragonesa de Amigos del Paà s, or/l 66 x 75 cm) as well as several preparatory drawings in the Museo del Prado. This was probably done by one of Francisco Bayeu's collaborators, perhaps as part of the process for creating the final composition. .Oil on canvas
