Etching, aquatint, burin and roulette. Third edition. Based on the oil painting by Velazquez "El bufon Barbarroja," circa 1640, now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid. "Barbarroja" was the nickname of Cristobal de Castaneda y Pernia, a jester at the court of Philip IV of Spain from 1633 to 1649.
