Marquise Ludovica Rangoni Machiavelli before shooting. Original film kodak TX b/w Printed on Ilford paper Vintage 1989. Only 1 print was ever made. Edition 1 of 1. Provenance: Franco Franceschi began photography after a period of drawing and painting. After some experience in university magazines and local newspapers for costume services, he dedicated himself to travel reporting. In 1978, he founded Studio Alpha Tau and dedicated himself exclusively to fashion photography in which he aimed to express his feelings that stemmed from a passion for cinema. Since 1980, he began working with Amica, Cosmopolitan, Harper s Bazaar and other important magazines both in Italy and abroad, as well as with leading fashion companies. At the turn of the century, he rediscovered the pleasure of image research and applied himself to it more and more and, in 2002, he began a series of exhibitions in Italy. At the International Festival of Orvieto 2003, he was awarded his first monograph, published by Edizionitalia while his images were sought after for solo exhibitions in various countries. Having extended his research on detail, from landscape to architecture and design, he is currently presenting his images at exhibitions in various countries across Europe, the United States and South America.
