Costume design for the Metropolitan Opera production of Antony and Cleopatra by designer and librettist Franco Zeffirelli (Italian, 1923-2019.) Image is executed as a mixed media collage and painting, showing the costume for a Roman Noble Woman. Verso states that the design was once owned by Maureen Ting, an assistant designer who work with Zeffirelli on Antony & Cleopatra. The opera was the first ever performed at Lincoln Center when it opened in 1966. Sight size is 18" x 13", framed to 25" x 20". Very good condition. Some wear to frame.
