Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Lined. Minor surface dirt and dust; scattered fine craquelure; a few isolated pin dots of accretion; a tiny vertical scuff extending from the date at lower right; and frame abrasion along the right edge. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. A broadly applied horizontal repair (approximately 5 inches) fluoresces in the background above the figure's head (and is partially visible to the naked eye). Some feathery inpainting in the upper left quadrant. A dot of inpainting on the figure's proper left eye. A few finely applied retouches and inpainting to address prior craquelure visible on the figure's clothes and wrist.
