Please note measurements do not include the frame unless otherwise stated. Condition Report: The canvas has not been lined but is a little loose. There are a number of losses and areas of flaking with associated areas of damage throughout the work. There are three tears to the upper right quadrant (largest approx. 5cm), and a further tear (approx. 10cm) below the hem of the girl's dress. Stretcher marks visible. Craquelure and substantial surface dirt throughout (although some of this is superficial and can be removed). Some small spots of what appears to be water damage to the lower right quadrant. Inspection under UV reveals a heavy varnish but there does not appear to be any evidence of overpaint or restoration.
