FREE-BLOWN WHALE OIL SPARKING HAND LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, comprising a truncated pyriform example with applied solid handle, and a truncated conical example with a saucer shoulder and applied loop handle, raised on a protruding drawn foot, each with a rough pontil mark. Each fitted with a period tin and cork single-tube drop-in burner, one marked "PATENT", other lacking plate. United States. 1820-1840.
Condition: Each with a crack to the lower terminal of the handle.
Size: 2" H to top of the opening, 2" DOA font; and 2 7/8" H to top of the opening, 2 5/8" DOA font, 2 1/4" D foot.
