FREE-BLOWN WHALE OIL SPARKING STAND LAMP, colorless, compressed conical font with slight saucer-form shoulder, raised on a button-knop stem and circular foot with rough pontil mark. Fitted with a period tin and cork single-tube drop-in burner marked "PATENT". United States. 1820-1840.
Condition: Undamaged with some minor surface wear; some loss to the cork.
Size: 3 1/8" H to top of opening, 2 1/4" DOA font, 2" D foot.
