FRENCH ART NOUVEAU SIGNED RETHONDES AND DEGUE ART GLASS LAMP SHADES WITH PARTIAL HANGING ELECTRIC CHANDELIER, (Updated 10/05/2026). comprising of four matching patterned shades in cased brilliant orange with lower body having a lightly mottled pattern in cobalt blue and having a satin finish, includes a matching three-piece set of tulip-form shades, each is signed "Rethondes" to the lower edge, and remaining shade a mushroom-form which fits on the iron frame, signed "Degue" to the lower edge, having three as-made holes for support. Each is fitted to an incomplete wrought-iron three-arm chandelier of partial components, each having a matching arm with applied flowers and arm supports highlighted with matching applied flowers. Circa 1920. Tulip shades 5 1/2" HOA; mushroom shade 3 3/4" H, 13 3/4" D fitter; chandelier arms 22 3/4" LOA.

Condition

Very good condition, tulip shades in excellent condition with some expected very minute wear including light scratches, fitters with some scattered flakes/roughness; shade having a significant loss at one of the support holes, remaining holes with flakes/roughness and one with a shallow chip. Metal components with expected wear, some light rust and lacking components.
