FRENCH ARTILLERY SHORT SWORD DAMASCUS BLADE
Model 1832 French Foot Artillery short sword. This sword features a cast brass hilt with fish scale grip and raised relief rooster on both sides of the pommel. The quillon has a flower on each side. What really makes this sword unusual is the Damascus blade. The blade is 19" by 1 3/4" and has a Damascus pattern throughout. No makers marks, and missing leather washer. 24 3/4", Very Good-Excellent
