FRENCH CHEVALIER CLOCK WITH PORCELAIN PANELS INSERTS: Heavy French bronze mantle clock surmounted by an urn finial with curved inset porcelain panels having hand-painted nesting birds & foliate. Bronze frame has raised foliate, griffins, & lion's heads. Large inset painted bird porcelain panels at all 4 sides. Beveled glass face cover. Lower Cherub medallion at the observe. Raised on paw feet. Inner works marked, Paris, Chevalier. Approx. 24" h x 11.75" l x 10.5" w.
