Neoclassical French Empire style mantel clock in ebonized wood with ormolu mounts. Indistinct rubbed mark to dial, with 1827 "Medaille D'Or" seal on movement. Dimensions: H 20.25" x W 10.25" x D 6" Condition: Clock not currently running; not tested. Missing chime; apparently missing back of movement case and crystal. Chips and losses to wood at base, a few very small stress cracks; minor rubbing and patina to ormolu mounts.
Condition: All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday, Wednesday December 1st- Friday, December 10th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
