FRENCH GILT BRONZE & CUT GLASS CACHE POT

A square cut glass body with applied ormolu swags and decorative cartouches. Both cartouches with repousse depictions of (possibly) Venus and Cupid. Glass body raised on four gilt bronze acanthus leaf feet. Marked France to the underside of one foot.
H. 14.5 cm (5 3/4 in.)
Condition Report: Interior rim of the glass appears to have been rounded, no apparent chips or cracks in the glass.
