Late 19th century hand painted mythological scene to cover, interior lined with blue silk. With key. Condition: One small red glass cabochon missing from lid. Central enamel cabochon missing from rear panel. An approximately 1/8-inch loss to blue enamel on front panel. Gilt molding along upper and lower edges of front slightly warped. Lock does not work. Scattered minor marks and darkening to gilt surfaces commensurate with age. 12 3/4 inches wide; 8 1/8 inches deep; 7 inches high
