FRENCH LOUIS PHILIPPE MARBLE-TOP FLAME MAHOGANY COMMODE
French Louis Philippe period burled mahogany commode, mid 19th c., having marble top, over four drawers, rising on bracket feet, approx 39"h, 50"w, 23"d
Condition Report: 4.15.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3319-The structure is sturdy, the marble top is intact with only some very slight minor chipping along the back edge, I noticed the platform that the marble is sitting on as a possible repair at one corner, this is concealed by the marble, otherwise the case is well figured with only some very small areas of wood loss/mars, light wear, and tonal variation, all commensurate with age and use, the piece does retain a key that operates the locks
