Lot of 2 French Model 1874 Gras Bayonets. (1) M1874 Bayonet. Bright, straight, T-back blade. Maker marked on the spine "Manufacture d’Armes de Saint Étienne 1877." Proof marks on the ricasso and quillion. Steel crossguard, quillion stamped " 6080" serial number. Wood grips with gilded brass pommel. Steel scabbard stamped "2464" and proof marks. (1) M1874 Bayonet. Bright, straight, T-back blade. Maker marked on the spine "Manufacture d’Armes de Saint Étienne 1879." Proof marks on the ricasso and quillion. Steel crossguard, quillion stamped " 80765." Wood grips with brass pommel. Steel scabbard serial number stamped "98844" and proof marks. Blade Length: 20 1/2" | Total Length: 25 1/2"
Condition Report: Very good. Blades have some dark spots. 1st bayonet has pitting on the the crossguard and scabbard.
