French, 20th early 20th century. "Joan of Arc", plaster,. Signed "Sapiens" on bottom of neck; titled and numbered 3 of 6; inscribed and dedicated to William C. Bullitt (1891-1967) American ambassador to France and Soviet Union on base. Approx. 25.25" (overall)
Condition Report: Bust with many scratches and scrapes, some deep, all over. Base shows evidence of repair and plastering to disguise repair joints. Stained, severely on top of head.
