Late 19th c. French Sterling Silver Hanging Censer, with Minerva head 950-silver hallmark, and illegible maker's mark "FES", repoussed and chased acanthus leaf and swirl decoration to base section, openwork lid with three applied cherub heads and flame finial, suspended on multiple link chains, base edge engraved "SA", base and interior bowl lined with bronze inserts, censer only: 11 1/4" high, 5" diam. Surface wear, a few small dents.
