FRENCH VICTORIAN BED LINEN - Cotton - Early 20th century

This is a excellent bed linen. The design has been exquisitely drawn and very well embroidered on to the cotton. On ether side of the Initials A. C. are two flower arrangements which covers the entire top of the linen. It has a double row of open thread work This is one of the many bed linens which was offered to us by our close neighbour's trousseaux. It goes back to her paternal Great Grand mother and it has been stored in her armoires for many years without having been used. There is more beautiful bedlinen to follow in the forthcoming auctions.
