FRENCH VICTORIAN LINEN SHEETS (2) - Linen - Late 19th century

These 2 linen sheets came through the Great Grandmother of my neighbour and we can thus trace them approx 1880/1890. As far as the lady knows they have been never used and the entire trousseaux we were able to buy. When we were summoned the Lady opened the 4 large chests which had not been touched for years and everything was carefully wrapped in tissu. The two sheets would have been destined for the Grandparents as they slept in single beds as was the fashion in those days. They are both beautifully slightly different scalloped but both bear the same " Family Crest". We will only sell them together as" they do not want to be parted" after all these years. This is a rare and exceptional pair of bedlinen to obtain. and in mint condition! Could also be changed for curtains. Please do study the many photos.
