Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. This work is in original unlined condition, reinforced along the edges with a strip lining. On the reverse, small dots of glue or wax have appear at regular intervals down the right and left edges, with no associated retouches visible. There are faint stretcher bar marks parallel to the upper edge, and one horizontal and one vertical intersecting at the center. A barely perceptible pin dot loss to the red shirt of the standing woman at right. Under UV: finely applied and precise areas of retouching are sparsely applied in isolated spots.
