FULL BODY FOLK ART COPPER COCKEREL WEATHER VANE.

Mid-20th century. French or possibly Canadian. An interesting and unique form with pronounced molded comb and wattle. The seams are joined by rivets, the sheet copper tail also riveted, the tail feathers hammered. Offered with a museum stand. From a private west coast collection. Dark copper patination with verdigris. Very good. Size: 20" T. x 20" L.; 25" T. with stand. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 24 -3/4" x 19 -1/2" x 5".
