Nocentini has been exhibiting his work for over 50 years and has received widespread recognition from the international art world. He is known as one of Italy's greatest watercolourists and is also a leading contemporary engraver/etcher of the second generation. Nocentini derives his inspiration from the landscapes of his native country. His work has a lyrical effect of remarkable intensity, beauty and vitality. His subjects are drawn from nature and hold an organic quality that is the founding strength of all his work.
