If cutting back on liquor is the goal, then carbonated water can provide a decent substitution, as evidenced by this stylish lady enjoying one of B. Claramunt's latest fruit essence concoctions. An 1891 edition of The Brewer's Guardian devoted a section of their issue to breweries in Barcelona, and noted that "B. Claramunt [is] one of the most important and progressive of the manufacturers, noted for his ideas of introducing the most modern mechanical improvements into his factory." Salud!
