Fabulous Victorian Cameo Depicting Janus Brooch – Set in a gold filled frame with a swivel bail, this is a super rare piece that is likely the roman god Janus who wears two faces, one on his mask. Or it could possibly symbolize Gemini in Astrology and the Zodiac. You will notice Pegasus on his helmet. Pegasus is the mythological winged horse who lived on Mt. Olympus with Zeus. Approximately 1.875 x 1.5”
