Faith Kenworthy-Browne, British 1882-1973- Daffodils and Irises in a blue and white jug; oil on canvas, signed with initials and dated '1945' (lower left), bears label from the Society of Women Artists to the reverse of the frame, 53.5 x 42 cm: together with another work by the same artist depicting Honeysuckle in a vase; oil on canvasboard, signed with initials (lower right), 30.5 x 37.5 cm. Daffodils and Irises: Framed, and unexamined out of frame. Light marks, chips, and surface dirt to the frames generally. The canvas is slightly loose on the stretcher, with corresponding light undulations generally. Stretcher bar mark visible to the upper edge of the canvas. Light abrasions in areas, particularly towards the edges, due to contact with the frame. Minor dents, chips, and pinholes in areas, along with surface dirt generally. Otherwise in fair condition overall. Honeysuckle: Held in a mount, unexamined outside. Possible light abrasions and surface dirt in areas. Areas of impasto are well-preserved. Otherwise in good condition overall.
