Large, colourful and top-quality Bituminous Sulphur from one of the largest sulphur mines in Sicily, the Cozzo Disi mine located in the province of Agrigento.
Inside this mine, the largest and most beautiful specimens of this very special and rare mineral have been discovered.
A porous, brown-coloured matrix contains a large number of very bright, deep green, bituminous sulphur crystals.
The mine was closed in 1989 together with the last six sulphur mines in Sicily, which makes this type of specimens a real rarity.
