Fantastic Four #48 (Marvel, 1966) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. A stupendous copy of this important issue that came out just three months after the introduction of the Inhumans to the Marvel Universe (in issue #45), and just four months before the first appearance of the Black Panther (in issue #52). This is arguably the most key of all the issues of the title from 1965-66, when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were rapid-firing new characters, concepts, and story arcs at extremely receptive fans. Galactus and the Silver Surfer make their first appearances in #48, an issue that also saw appearances by the Inhumans and the Watcher. Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott cover and art. A nearly perfect copy with rich cover inks and nice page quality. Currently listed in Overstreet's Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $12,000.
