Very detailed item, masterly made with realism. Mario Buccellati was the most famous Italian goldsmith of the 20th century. His masterpieces were inspired by Renaissance style, and by nature. His close friend, poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, nicknamed him "the prince of goldsmiths.
