Farrell (J.G.) A Man From Elsewhere, first and only edition, signed by...
Farrell (J.G.) A Man From Elsewhere, first and only edition, signed by the author on front free endpaper and dated 1966, edge-spotting occasionally straying into margins, spotting to endpapers, original boards, slight bumping to spine tips, dust-jacket, price-clipped, rubbing and creasing to upper and lower edges, minor chipping to spine tips and corners, small chip to foot of lower panel, 8vo, New Authors Limited, [1963]. *** Farrell's rare first novel, we can trace only one other signed example at auction. This a very good association copy, gifted by the author to his good friend John Spurling who would edit Farrell's final, unfinished novel, The Hill Station. A letter of provenance accompanies the lot.
