Faux marble bust of Roman soldier, unsigned, 16" H, on marble base, 9" W x 7" D. Provenance: From the estate of James Herbert, owner and operator of the Londontowne Galleries antiques business in Somerville for 25 years. He and his wife Jean, now a Dean Emeritus at Tufts University, collected antiques while travelling to England, France, China, and Italy for their business, as well as for their home in Winchester.
