Federal Carved and Inlaid Mahogany Double Tambour Desk, Boston, c. 1805-10, in three sections, the top section with reeded tambour doors opening to shelves, the middle section with contrasting veneer tambour opening to compartments and drawers, and projecting lower section with fold-down writing surface above three crossbanded drawers joining engaged reeded columns and shaped skirt joining reeded tapering legs, ht. 63 3/4, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 20 3/4 in.
