having a rectangular hinged top over three drawers with lion mask ring pulls, top opens to tooled leather writing surface, top drawer having felt writing surface, flanked by acanthus-carved supports joined by a shaped lower shelf, raised on acanthus carved legs ending in brass casters, back having three faux drawers, crack in bottom shelf, bottom drawer signed on back J. Van Boskerck who was a scholarly study of Duncan Phyfe and a local cabinet maker in New York City circa 1820 neighbor of Stephen and Moses Young, circa 1830
