Federal Mahogany and Flame Birch Veneer Bowfront Chest of Drawers, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, area, c. 1805-15, the top with flame birch veneered edge above a case of cockbeaded drawers banded in the same veneers, all on a cutout base of flaring French feet centering a drop panel outlined in diagonal banding, ht. 37 1/2, wd. 41, dp. 21 1/2 in.
