Crafted in the Federal style, this mahogany chest on chest from the mid to late 20th century features a traditional two-part vertical design. The case includes five graduated, full-width drawers constructed with dovetail joinery and framed with raised-edge molding. Each drawer face is adorned with dual cast brass bail pulls set into embossed backplates. Fluted pilasters flank the upper and lower case corners, terminating in a gently scalloped base apron supported by bracket feet.
