Federal Style Mahogany Oval Pedestal Dining Table, Late 20th Century
This round wood dining table features a rich, warm brown finish and a veneered top displaying segmented wood grain patterns with a split center for extension leaves. The tabletop rests upon an apron and is supported by a pedestal base featuring four turned vertical uprights anchored to a circular wooden ring. Extending from the central base are four splayed sabre legs that provide stability. Each leg terminates in a protective brass-toned metal foot cap.
