Federico Zandomeneghi - Nudo femminile di spalle
Exhibitions: Galleria Dell'Oca, Federico Zandomeneghi, 31 drawings from 1875 to 1917, Rome, 6 May - 5 June 1982, no. 28 (see attached pictures) .
. In the aftermath of Zandomeneghi's death, many studies and drawings remained with the merchant Paul Durand Ruel, who handed them over to the family.
These were real impressions to be traced back, as in the case of this character seen from the back, to more finite works such as "Spalle nude" (E. Piceni, 1967, n.
627) , dated 1915, to be considered one of the final points of the painter's impressionist research.
