Une jetée en Angleterre, 1879, probably the fifth state of eight (Bourcard & Goodfriend, 132). Signed "Felix Buhot..." in pencil l.r., artist's stamp (Lugt, 977) l.c., inscribed in pencil l.l., initialed, titled, and more within the plate. Etching with drypoint and aquatint on paper, plate size 11 3/4 x 7 7/8 in. (29.8 x 19.7 cm), framed.
Condition: Rich impression, gentle toning and rippling, not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet is a laid paper with a partial fleur-de -lys and "HALLINES" watermark. The sheet measures 13 3/4 x 10 in., and is hinged at the upper corners verso. The image is light-stained and there is mat burn to the margins. The verso is more evenly tones and has pencil annotations.
