The work is framed (the frame has some marks and should be changed) , signed in the lower right corner, and dated 1982. Félix Revello de Toro (Malaga, June 10, 1926) . 1943 After completing his Baccalaureate studies at the Colegio San Estanislao, he received a scholarship from the Malaga City Council to study Fine Arts at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid. Paint the fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary for the Brotherhood of the Judgment. 1950 The Fine Arts career concludes with an Extraordinary Prize and the Pérez Madrigal Prize. 1951 Travels to Italy thanks to twice winning the Carmen del Río Scholarship and expands studies at the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. 1952 First important exhibition at the Sala Macarrón in Madrid with great critical and public success. 1953 First exhibition of portraits at the Casino de Madrid and exhibition in Granada organized by the Press Association. 1956 He settled in Barcelona and obtained by opposition a chair at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts, La Llotja. 1958 Exhibition in the Art Room, Bilbao. 1962 and 1967 Exhibitions in Zaragoza. 1968 Exhibition at the Garbi Gallery, Valencia. 1970 Begins painting portraits for the Mayors Gallery of the City of Malaga. 1973 He resigned from his chair of Fine Arts to devote himself fully to painting. 1976 He made the first official portrait of the Prince of Asturias. 1987 Gets the Rafael de Penagos National Drawing Prize. 1988 He made the great collective portrait of the International Olympic Committee that voted for Barcelona's candidacy for the 1992 Olympics, for the headquarters of this organization in Lausanne (Switzerland) . He paints his first Poster for the Malaga Fair. 1990 The Golden Key of the city of Barcelona is given to him. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Telmo de Málaga names him an Academician of Honor. 1991 Paints for the ABC House the two great official portraits of the Kings of Spain. 1993 The Malaga Press Association awards him his Golden Shield. 1994 The National Association of Living Culture of Madrid names him an honorary member and awards him his Gold Badge. He paints his first Official Poster for Holy Week in Malaga. 1995 The Malaga City Council awarded him his Gold medal and named him Favourite Son. 1997 The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary in Seville awards him his Medal of Honor. 1998 The Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona names him Académico Correspondiente. Hispano, who had the visit of the Kings of Spain. His wife Chini dies. 2002 The Junta de Andalucía distinguishes him with the title of Favourite Son and awards him the Medal of Andalusia. 2004 The great anthological exhibition "Revello de Toro, a life dedicated to painting", organised by the Malaga City Council and Unicaja, which was visited by more than fifty thousand people, is held at the Municipal Museum of Malaga. 2005 The Association of Brotherhoods of Malaga distinguishes it with its Gold Medal. 2006 When celebrating its eightieth birthday, the first exhibition of works that are part of the transfer that it has made to the city of Malaga is inaugurated in the Municipal Archive rooms. 2007 A second exhibition takes place with new works from the donation destined for the future museum that will bear his name. Paints for the second time the Poster of the Malaga Fair. 2010 He paints his second poster for the Malaga Carnival. The Revello de Toro Museum is solemnly inaugurated.
