Description: Fender American Vintage Series Stratocaster Metallic Ice Blue with Matching Headstock and Hard Case. Absolutely gorgeous guitar. This piece, oddly enough, also has an “ash tray” as well as a whammy bar (and a plethora of other material and parts, please see photos). The incredible color of this vintage-series guitar is also matched on the headstock, creating a strikingly beautiful and rare combination. This guitar came from a Florida estate of a collector who rarely played many of their instruments, and this guitar for all intents and purposes certainly appears lightly, if ever, played. The ornate, orange-felt hard case that comes with this lot is itself a thing of beauty.
Hallmarks or Signature: Serial Number: V152888
Year or Circa: Post-1988. We believe closer to 2001. Without removing the neck to check the butt end of the neck heel we are unable to conclusively date the guitar, simply that the 6 digits following the V indicate it was produced after 1988.
Condition of piece: Excellent overall. Truly a phenomenal guitar.
