Fenton & Amberina Glassware

A collection of three pieces of American decorative art glass, comprising a marigold carnival glass vessel, an Amberina glass covered dish, and a hand-painted ruby glass bell. The first item is a press-molded carnival glass vessel with a flared form, a beaded rim, and a tiered circular foot. The exterior displays a marigold iridescent finish over a repeating shell and fan motif at the base and a stippled texture across the central body. The second item is a two-piece press-molded Amberina glass covered candy dish. The glass exhibits characteristic heat-sensitive color shading, transitioning from a golden amber at the upper rim and lid to a deep ruby red at the four-footed base. The exterior is decorated with an embossed pattern of grape clusters and leaves set against a fine stippled ground. The lid features a matching motif and is topped with a grape-cluster finial. The third item is a ruby glass bell with a molded handle. The body of the bell features three oval cameo panels containing hand-painted white roses with green and gray foliage. Inside the bell is a gold and black oval foil sticker reading Fenton in stylized script above AUTHENTIC HANDMADE. Also inside the rim is a hand-painted white script signature reading Hand Painted by B. Williams. The bell retains its original clear glass bead clapper attached by a metal chain.
